Brief Story – What Got You Where You Are Today
Iness lives and works in New York City where she teaches Art and painting to children and adults in her art studio in addition to pursuing her own artistic career. Iness has exhibited her art works at Chelsea galleries, The Bridgehampton Museum and MORA (Museum of Russian Art). Iness artworks are in private collections in the US, UK, Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia and Italy.
Iness describes her art style as a Feminine Pop Art. Iness combines elements of Pop Art and bright colors. Iness fills her paintings with love, joy and happiness. For her paintings Iness mostly uses three colors, blue, yellow and pink. Blue is the color of happiness, Pink is one of love, and Yellow represents positivity. Combining these colors together, with positive message and a touch of irony is what makes Iness’s art style. Iness implements a positive message in her art to the viewers.

Iness works with mixed media/collage made of newspaper, magazines, comics and paint. The theme which Iness uses is based on the reality in an ironic interpretation. Iness admires female body; she finds the female body as a perfect artistic form which presents an endless inspiration. Female body, lips and heels are commonly reflected in Iness art.

Looking at Iness’s artworks, viewers recognize where the inspiration is coming from. The main source of inspiration is the everyday life but in a funky and bright way with a hint of humor which all make Iness Arts appealing.
