Further, I can utilize this platform, for uplifting the under privileged women and children, and to carry forward the message of peace, compassion and humanity.Brief Story
Brief Story – What Got You Where You Are Today
A post graduate teacher and a mother of 2 kids, residing in Trivandrum, the Capital city of Gods Own Country, Kerala, India. Travelled across India many times, conversant with different languages and familiar with various cultures of India. Giving importance to human values and well connected with relatives and friends, to remain pleasant at all times. Further, I am fully content with myself, and not counting success in economic terms, but in quality of life. In a developing Country like India, there are only few platforms for married women to show their potential and talents. Qualifications only give entry and the competence that ultimately works. Each contestant was representing their respective State. Though we all were competing for the same crown, there was so much to learn from each other. Every stage of competition was challenging and was an inspiration for me to do better in the next level. And sometimes I even look in the mirror thinking how far I got. It’s been 4 years since I started my healing journey and at the same time I’ve been also helping people that have similar struggles as I did. That’s why I decided to share my story. If people love you now and they point cameras at you everywhere, it doesn’t mean it’s been like that since the beginning. I never forgot where I came from, and I am not scared to show people that I am a person too, I have feelings, emotions and life experiences, just like everybody else. During past few years, flood was intense in my locality. Actively participated in relief works by arranging food, water, clothes and medicines. Volunteering in mass tree plantation, cleaning waste and plastics from public places etc. This was followed by Covid 19, I have taken effort to sensitize my village community.
