Vaiaku is located in southern Tuvalu on the island of Fongafale, an atoll of Funafuti. According to the 2002 census, Vaiaku has 516 residents, which makes it the capital of Tuvalu.

Vaiaku is home to all administrative buildings, including the National Bank of Tuvalu and the Vaiaku Langi Hotel. It also houses Teone Church, the only church in Funafuti of the Latin Catholic Mission Sui iuris. The Church of Tuvalu’s Fetu’ao Lima is the most prominent building in Funafuti.

Tonga is a Tuvalu village. Tonga is home to 358 people, making it the seventh-most populous town in Tuvalu. It is home to 52% of Nanumanga’s population. Tokelau is the only village on the island.

Tanrake, a Tuvalu village, is called. It’s located on Nui atoll on Fenua Tapu island. Tanrake is also known by Manutalake-Meang. The 2012 Census showed that 221 people were living in Tanrake.

Lolua, the capital and administrative headquarters of Nanumea Atoll on the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu, is Lolua. It is home to 215 people (as of 2010) and is located approximately 465 km northwest of Funafuti, the capital. Lolua can be found northwest of Nanumea, the main island.

Senala, a Tuvalu village, is located on the Funafuti Atoll, on Fongafale. It covers 0.13 km2. It was home to 574 residents in 2001 and 1207 in 2012.
