Gabon
Remove The Limitations And Barriers
Gabon, also known as the Gabonese Republic, is a country located on the west coast of Central Africa. Gabon, located on the equator, borders Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon, Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the west. The area covers nearly 270,000 km (100,000. sq mi), and the population is approximately 2.1 million. There are three regions to choose from: the coastal plains, mountains, and the savanna of the east. Libreville is Gabon’s capital city and the largest. French is the official language.
They were initially settled by Pygmy peoples. However, they were quickly replaced and absorbed into Bantu tribes by the migrants. In Gabon, the Kingdom of Orungu, a Myeni-speaking kingdom, was established in the 18th century. Because it could buy and sell enslaved people, the kingdom became an intense trading center. The end of the slave trade in the 1870s destroyed the empire. Gabon, a sovereign state, has been ruled by three presidents since its 1960 independence from France. Gabon created a multiparty system in the 1990s and a new democratic constitution. This allowed for transparent elections and reforms in many government institutions.
