Ghana is a unitary constitutional democracy with a head of state and head of government. It has had one of Africa’s most stable and free governments since 1993. The country also performs well in terms of human development, healthcare, and economic growth. Ghana enjoys a significant influence on West Africa.

Kumasi, a city located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, is one of the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana. Kumasi, situated in the rainforest region of Lake Bosomtwe, is the cultural, commercial, and industrial capital of the historical Ashanti Empire. Kumasi lies approximately 500 km (300 mi) north of the Equator. It is also 200 km (100 mi) north of the Gulf of Guinea.
Kumasi is known as “The Garden City” due to its numerous species of flowers and plants from the past. It is also known as Oseikrom, Osei Tutu’s town.

Sekondi Takoradi, a city in Ghana that combines the twin cities Sekondi – Takoradi, is called Sekondi Takoradi. It is the capital city of Sekondi- Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly and the Western Region. With a population of 445.205, Sekondi Takoradi is the largest city in the region and an industrial and business center.
