  I have been a lifelong volunteer for multiple social causes. For example, I have fundraised thousands of dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society, to provide funding for cancer research and support programs. I have volunteered at multiple charities for children, including a cancer camp and a variety of programs to provide mentorship to youth. I have volunteered at sexual assault centres, battered women’s shelters, and crisis lines. Finally, I have volunteered for multiple animal rescues and have been a foster mom to orphaned kittens and cats several times.
