Imagine That You Have Been Selected As An Influential Person Of The Country For A Week. What Do You Plan To Do For The Country In Just A Week?

Oh man, that would be awesome. I would try to think of a way on how I can give back in the greatest way in one week. Who truly needs help financially, emotionally, physically, and socially. It would be to try and find a way to do the greatest good in the short amount of time. I will also visit homeless shelters etc.

Brief Story – What Got You Where You Are Today?

A heartbreak.  I was in love with a guy who I truly admired, respected and cared about. We dated in college and shortly after. We dated for 4 years and when we decided to end it and go our separate ways I was heartbroken. I always saw us together. I never imagined my life without him. So after we broke up he met someone else, and moved away from the state. I was still crushed. It wasn’t until I found out that he had proposed to his girlfriend, then I broke down in tears. I prayed earnestly to the Lord and asked him to “Show me my purpose” Show me why I was created on this earth, for what reason and, I will never look back. I will give it my all, dive into it, and become an expert in that field . And so a week after that prayer I began to see signs about real estate. I didn’t know much about real estate or even what realtors do, but God began to lead me to conversations about real estate, commercials, friends talking about it, homebuying seminars etc! It became a little weird but it was all his leading. So, I decided to pay for real estate school, take the course and see what happened. Learning the material , studying for the test it all came so easily to me. So after taking the finals I passed and received my license. After a year of being licensed, I decided to quit my corporate job and pursue real estate full time and haven’t looked back since. I’ve closed listings and buyer deals so far and currently working with 10+ families on buying, selling, and investing in homes here in the Charlotte area. So, God is good and He is faithful. I would’ve never chose this path for myself. If you would’ve asked me. I would have still been dating my ex boyfriend trying to become a doctor or either moved across the country to become a missionary worker. But here is my happy place. I love being a realtor. And I’m truly thankful that God showed me the way, and that I took the leap of faith. He is truly incredible and only wants the best for us!
