Basseterre, the capital and largest city in Saint Kitts & Nevis, has an estimated population of 14,000 as of 2018. Geographically, the Basseterre port is located on the southwestern coast of Saint Kitts Island and is one of the chief commercial depots of the Leeward Islands. It is located in Saint George Basseterre Parish.

Basseterre is one of the oldest cities in the Eastern Caribbean.

Charlestown is the capital of Nevis in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis Leeward Islands, West Indies, in Charlestown. Charlestown is located on the south side of Nevis near Pinneys Beach.

Charlestown Harbor was once called Bath Bay about Bath Stream. This stream is known for its curative waters.

Sandy Point is the second-largest town in Saint Kitts, Saint Kitts & Nevis. This is the capital of Saint Anne Sandy Point Parish and is located on the northwest coast.

The area, now known as Sandy Point, is believed to have been the first landing spot for Sir Thomas Warner (1623), an English sea captain and explorer. The town was established in the 1620s. It became the commercial center of St. Kitts. This is evident in the remnants of former Dutch warehouses along the shoreline.

Dieppe Bay Town can be found in Saint John Capisterre Parish on the island of Saint Kitts. It is located in the country Saint Kitts & Nevis in West Indies. It was founded in 1538 and is the oldest European-founded town in the entire Eastern Caribbean. It could only survive for a few more weeks before being destroyed by Spanish colonists. However, it was rebuilt by Pierre D’Esnambuc and other French settlers in 1625.

Dieppe Bay Town and Saddlers are the co-capital for St. John Capisterre Parish. France initially governed the northern portion of the parish in the “Capisterre de St. Christophe” region, of which Dieppe was the capital. The United Kingdom ruled the southern portion of the parish in “British Saint Christopher,” with its capital in Saddlers. Britain retained both capitals after it took complete control of the island in 1713.

Cayon can be found on the northeast coast of Saint Kitts, the Caribbean. It is also the capital of Saint Mary Cayon Parish. It was home to approximately 2,500 people in 2010.

The Windsor University School of Medicine campus is located in Cayon. St Mary’s Park is a town landmark that has hosted major cricket matches for Leeward Islands cricket teams.
