Kyrgyzstan
Remove The Limitations And Barriers
Kyrgyzstan is an uninhabited mountainous country in Central Asia. Kyrgyzstan borders Kazakhstan to its north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan south, and China to the east. Bishkek is the capital and largest city. The majority of the six million inhabitants of the country are ethnic Kyrgyz. Significant minorities of Uzbeks, Russians, and Uzbeks make up the remainder. The Kyrgyz language has a close relationship to other Turkic languages.
Russian is still used as an official language. Ninety percent (90%) of Kyrgyzstan’s inhabitants are Muslims, with most of them following Sunni Islam. Kyrgyz culture is not only Turko-Mongol in origin but also has elements of Slavic tradition and Russian influence.
The history of Kyrgyzstan spans many cultures and empires. Despite being isolated geographically by its mountainous terrain, Kyrgyzstan is at the crossroads of many great civilizations through the Silk Road and other commercial routes. Kyrgyzstan is home to a variety of clans and tribes. However, it has fallen under greater domination in the past.
