Kiribati
Remove The Limitations And Barriers
Kiribati, known as the Republic of Kiribati in the central Pacific Ocean, is an independent island country. More than half of the permanent population lives in Tarawa atoll. There are 32 atolls in the state, and Banaba is a coral island. The total area of the state is 811 km2 or 313 miles. It’s spread over 3.5million km2 (1.4 Million sq mi) of the ocean.
Although their spread crosses the equator, the 180th Meridian, and the International Date Line swings to the east, it passes close to the 150deg W Meridian, and the International Date Line circles Kiribati. This places Kiribati’s southernmost islands, the Line Islands south of Hawaii, on the same day as the Gilbert Islands. It also puts them in Earth’s most advanced time zone, UTC+14. Kiribati is unique in being in each of the four cardinal hemispheres.
