Apia, the capital and only city of Samoa, is its capital. It is situated on Upolu’s central north coast, Samoa’s second-largest Island. Apia is located in Tuamasaga’s political district (itumalo).

Apia Urban area has a population of 37,391. Its geographical boundaries run roughly from Letogo village to the modernized Apia region known as “Vaitele.”

Asau is a village located on the northwest coast of Savai’i Island in Samoa. It is the capital of the Vaisigano district and serves the main business center at the west end. In 2016, the population was 1133. This is a decline from 1207 in 2011. In the middle of the 18th century, a lava stream from Mauga Afi destroyed the eastern portion of the village.

Afega is located on Upolu, Samoa’s island. It is located in the country on the island’s central north coast, just west of Apia, the capital.

It has a population of 1998. Afega is part of the electoral constituency Sagaga Le Usoga, which is part of the larger political district Tuamasaga.

Tuana’i, a small village on the north coast of Upolu Island in Samoa, is called “Tuana’i.” It is located to the west of Apia, the country’s capital. It has a population of 1407.

Tuana’i is located in the Sagaga Le Usoga electoral constituency, part of Tuamasaga’s larger political district.

Safotu, a village located on the north coast of Savai’i Island in Samoa, is called “Safotu.” Safotu, located in the Gagaifomauga district, has a population of 1270. It was the Gagaifomauga’s main center and earned the status of “Pule,” a customary political authority.

Safety has also been associated with the Lilomaiava, chiefly the matai Ao title.
