Remove The Limitations And Barriers
The Palestinian state of Palestine is de jure a sovereign state in Western Asia. Officially, it is governed by the Palestine Liberation Organization. It claims the West Bank as well as the Gaza Strip. Its claimed territory has been occupied since 1967’s Six-Day War. The West Bank is divided into 165 Palestinian “islands”, which are subject to partial Palestinian National Authority (PNA), civil rule, and 230 Israeli settlements, into which Israeli law “pipelines”. At the same time, Gaza is governed by Hamas and has been under a long-term Israeli blockade since 2007.
In 1947, after World War II, the United Nations (UN) adopted a Partition Plan for Mandatory Palestine. This Plan recommended the creation of independent Arab and Jewish states and an internationalized Jerusalem. The Jews accepted the Partition Plan, but the Arabs rejected it. The Plan was rejected by the Arabs but accepted by the Jews. Nearby Arab countries invaded the British Mandate on 14 May 1948 and engaged Israeli forces during the First Arab-Israeli War. The Arab League established the All-Palestine Government on 22 September 1948. It was to manage the All-Palestine Protectorate within the Egyptian-occupied Gaza Strip. All members of the Arab League recognized it, except Transjordan. Transjordan had occupied and later annexed East Jerusalem. Although the All-Palestine Government was deemed to have jurisdiction over all of former Mandatory Palestine, it was only effective in the Gaza Strip.

Top Cities to Visit
Jerusalem is a city located in Western Asia. It is located on a plateau between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea in the Judaean Mountains. It is considered one of the most ancient cities in the world.
The city lies between Israel and West Bank. Both Israelis and Palestinians claim Jerusalem to be their capital. Israel controls the whole city and has its main governmental institutions, while the Palestinian National Authority (Palestinian Liberation Organization) sees it as the seat of the State of Palestine. This long-running dispute has made it difficult for either side to be widely recognized internationally.
Nablus, a Palestinian city in the northern West Bank, is approximately 49 km (30 mi) north of Jerusalem. It can be reached by road at approximately 63 kilometres (39 miles) and has a population of 126132. It is located between Mount Ebal, Mount Gerizim, and the capital of Nablus Governorate. The city also houses a Palestinian cultural and commercial centre. An-Najah National University, one of the largest higher education institutions in Palestine, and the Palestinian Stock Exchange are nearby.
Gaza, a Palestinian city, located in the Gaza Strip, has a population of 590 481 (in 2017), making this the largest city in the State of Palestine. Gaza, which has been in existence since at least 15 centuries BCE, has been ruled by many different empires and peoples over its entire history.
After the Ancient Egyptians had ruled for almost 350 years, the Philistines included it in their pentapolis.
Khan Yunis can be found in the southern Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Khan Yunis was home to 142,637 people in 2007, 202,000 in 2010, and 350,000 in 2012.
Khan Yunis has located only 4 km (about 2.5 miles) east of the Mediterranean Sea. It has a semi-arid climate, with temperatures of 30°C in summer and 10°C in winter. There is approximately 260mm (10.2 inches) of annual rainfall.
Rafah, a Palestinian city, located in the southern Gaza Strip, is called “The Capital of Rafah Governorate”. It is located 30 km (19 mi) southeast of Gaza City and serves as the district capital for the Rafah governorate. The majority of Rafah’s population, 152,950 (2014), comprises ex-Palestinian refugees.
Rafah was divided into two parts when Israel retreated from Sinai in 1982. The Gazan and Egyptian sections separated families by barbed wire barriers. Israel and Egypt destroyed the city’s core to create a buffer zone.
