What Got You Where You Are Today?

I was the lost child, the people pleaser, dead inside. No place to go, no one to lean on. I ran away from home when I was 16. No hopes or dreams. Focused on surviving, surrounded by fake friends, Using all kind of drugs to escape reality. Traumatized and ended up in an abusive relationship with a narcissist which almost was the end of me. Till one day, when I completely lost my soul, weighed 33 kg and couldn’t stand up or move my head from the pain caused by stress I packed my suitcase once again and ran away from everything I knew and choose me. Something inside me changed. I ripped myself apart till I didn’t let the pain consume me anymore. I healed like a snake shed its skin, I became a new me. Rebirth, I cut off everyone in my life and realized I wasn’t the problem all along. It was the people I surrounded myself with who made me feel like there was something wrong with me. Yes, first it was lonely. But it brought me where I am now. Now, I love to spend time with me. Because I am everything I need. Never give up on your dreams. Never believe someone else’s voice over your own inner guidance. If you dream about it, go for it. Just take the first step and the universe will hold your hand throughout your journey. Surround yourself with like-minded people or stay alone. Leave everyone, everything that drowns you. Sit alone. Give the universe the space to reach you in the stillness of your own presence. I’m 28 and just started living instead of Surviving. It’s never too late. In a year, I achieved more than I ever dreamed I could. And now I’m focusing on doing what I love most, acting & dancing. Just do what you love and believe you can. I’m still struggling with my anxiety when it comes to dancing and being vulnerable. The voice within screams that would ruin it. That’s the voice of other people planted deep inside of my roots. But my heart knows it’s my passion and with time, I will become great. You can overcome everything, if you work on your traumas instead of running away from them. Believe in yourself and you will achieve everything you want, whatever your back ground story is
