Seychelles
Remove The Limitations And Barriers
Formerly the Republic of Seychelles, Seychelles is an archipelagic country with one hundred and fifteen islands in the Indian Ocean. It lies on the jap edge of the Somali Sea. Victoria, the capital and largest city of Seychelles, is located 1,500 km (800 nautical miles) east of mainland Africa. Mauritius, Madagascar, Mauritius, and Comoros are the nearest island countries and territories. To the south, there is Reunion and Mayotte. To the east, the Maldives, Chagos Archipelago, and the Maldives are to the southeast. It is the least populous African sovereign country, with a population of 98.462 expected in 2020.
Before being discovered by Europeans in the 16th century, Seychelles was uninhabited. It was confronted with competing for British and French pursuits but finally came under full British control in the late 18th century. It gained independence from the UK in 1976. Since then, it has evolved from an agricultural society to a market-based, diverse economy. This is characterized by the use of unexpectedly increasing service, public sector, and tourism activities. Between 1976 and 2015, nominal GDP increased by almost 700%. Buying energy parity increased to almost 1600%. The authorities have made efforts to encourage overseas investment since the 2010s.

Top Cities to Visit
Victoria, the capital and biggest city of the Republic of Seychelles, is located on the northeastern island of Mahe, the archipelago’s main island. It was established in 1897 as the British colonial capital. Greater Victoria, including its suburbs, had a population of 26,450 in 2010, which is 26.66% of the total 99.202 population.
Beau Vallon is located on the northwest coast of Mahe, Seychelles. Beau Vallon Beach is a popular beach and is highly visited. Because of its clear waters, coral reefs, and excellent diving conditions, it is an ideal spot for snorkeling and diving. Beau Vallon is home to several restaurants and hotels.
Anse Boileau, an administrative area south of Mahe Island in Seychelles, is called “Anse Boileau.” Anse Boileau is a symbol of Seychelles’ natural beauty. It sits at the base of a tall, green mountain and borders the Indian Ocean. There are streams, mini forests, and creeks in its midst, as well as ponds and a beautiful array of everything that makes up the Seychellois landscape.
Because many locals fish for a living, it is often called a fishing village. There is a school, a cafeteria, a hospital, a post office, and a station. It is located close to Anse La Mouche, a popular tourist spot. Anse Boileau’s many coves are what give it its name.
Takamaka is one of 26 administrative regions in Mahe, Republic of Seychelles. It is located in the southern part of Mahe. The three other districts include Baie Sainte Anne and Grand’ Anse, the Republic’s main islands. Also, the inner islands district, the third-largest island, La Digue, covers the other main islands, La Digue. Takamata has a population of approximately 3,000.
La Digue, east of Praslin, is the third-most populated island in Seychelles. It also has the fourth-largest land area. It is fourth in size after Silhouette Island, Praslin, and Mahe. There are 2,800 inhabitants. Most residents live in the villages west of La Passe or Anse Reunion.
La Digue does not have an airport. To get there from another country, you must fly to Victoria, then continue to La Digue by ferry via Praslin. It covers 10.08km2, making it easy to cycle or walk around.
