Palikir is located in the western Pacific Ocean and is the capital of the Federated States of Micronesia. It is a small community of 5,000 people. It is part of the larger Sokehs municipality, which had 6,647 inhabitants as of 2010. It was part of the total country’s 106 487 residents.
