Because of its many historic buildings and historical importance as an administrative and agricultural center, the city’s center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ambato can be found in Ecuador’s central Andean Valley. The city is located on the banks of the Ambato River and sits under several tall mountains. At 2,577 meters above sea level, it is the capital of Tungurahua province.

It’s also called “City of Flowers and Fruit,” “Cradle of Three Juans,” or even “Garden of Ecuador.” Ambatenos and Guaytambos are the names given to Ambato’s inhabitants. Javier Altamirano is the current mayor of Ambato.

Manta (also known as San Pablo de Manta) is an Ecuadorian town. It is the cantonal head for the Manta Canton and the largest and most populous city in the Manabi Province. Manta is the 10th most populous city in Ecuador. Manta was a pre-Columbian settlement. It was used as a trading post by the Manta, also known as Mantenos. The 2001 census showed that the city was home to 192,322 people. Tuna fishing is the city’s main economic activity in the 21st Century. Tourism and the chemical industry are other economic activities. These products range from cleaning supplies to oils, margarine, and oil.
